EastEnders: Lacey Turner says she’ll miss playing Stacey Slater

December 9th, 2010 by Sarah. No comments In an interview with TV Times, Lacey Turner has revealed that she’s going to miss playing Stacey Slater when she leaves the show this month. Lacey added that she felt she’s “grown up” while playing the part of the feisty Slater. She said, “Now I’ve got to the end, I don’t know why I’m going. “I feel like I’ve grown up here, so I’ll miss it all… “The people, the buzz of it; everything. I might cry in a minute.” And when asked which had been her favourite storylines, Lacey said, “I loved all the Bradley and Stacey stuff from the beginning… “The fact that the geek falls in love with the tart; I just love the way their relationship went. “I also liked Max and Stacey’s affair because it was spread out over a year, so I got the chance to play a lot of different emotions. “And the bi-polar storyline was great because of the effect it had on so many people; I learned so much doing that.” However, Lacey added that after six years with the show, she felt

Great Sources For Finding Body Jewelry At Great Prices Online

Since the beginning of civilization, jewelries and accessories were always part of a person’s overall wardrobe. Jewelries and accessories –which come in different kinds, styles, sizes and colors–have evolved through the years. Today, more and more people were able to find different means of wearing jewelries and accessories, one of which is body jewelry. Body jewelry refers to jewelries or accessories that you can wear in a specific part of your body. These include earrings, bracelets, necklaces, anklets, barbells, belly rings, belly waist chains, belts and buckles, bent barbells, rings, navel rings, nipple rings, nose rings, toe rings, tongue rings, lip rings, belly button rings, and body jewelry rings. Fashion Show improves slightly from its first season by upping personal drama

After four episodes, Bravo’s The Fashion Show took a week off last night, so it seems like a good time to check in and see if the show’s new direction is enough to make it more than the weak Project Runway clone it was in season one . As it stands, the series, hosted now by Iman and still judged by Isaac Mizrahi, has improved, though by replacing fashion with drama in the form of conflict. But it’s still not a show I’m excited about watching every week. I have not seen Project Runway Canada so I’m unfamiliar with Iman’s hosting and judging. At first, she seemed like she was a featured player on SNL who was doing a campy but bad impression of Ru Paul hosting RuPaul’s Drag Race . It was laugh-out-loud absurd. But she’s toned that down, and she’s occasionally funny as a judge, kind of a combination of Heidi Klum and Michael Kors. Isaac Mizrahi is okay, neither exceptional nor bad, but he’s better in the moments when he’s consulting with the designers, which is why producers should have

Jeff Probst on a NaOnka return, Survivor Nicaragua ("not one of our greatest seasons")

Jeff Probst basically tried to tell tribe members how to vote on Survivor Nicaragua this week, which is all the evidence even a casual viewer needs as proof that this season isn’t going to rank among the best ever. But Jeff is always honest, and though he hedges a bit, he basically admits this season sucks—which we could have guessed since he didn’t spend pre-season interviews talking about how great this season would be. “You can’t judge a season until it’s over because if it ends well, then that will make a big difference. I’m pretty honest, it’s not one of our greatest seasons and I don’t know how much of that is based on the fact we just came off ‘Heroes vs. Villains.’ The drop might have inevitable because we just left 20 of the greatest people to ever play,” Jeff told the New York Post . That, and they actually were playing. While Jeff answers questions about who could win with that annoying maybe-this, maybe-that kind of answer that’s super-frustrating— because he already knows

Skating With the Stars: Judge Dick Button

« The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Kyle Richards on Camille Grammer’s Dinner Party and Allison Dubois | Home December 17, 2010 02:30:19 by Lori Wilson Dick Button, Skating With the Stars ‘ answer to Dancing With the Stars ‘ Bruno Tonioli, says some pretty wacky things to the celebrities, while he constructively criticizes or praises their routines. Despite his off the wall one liners, he does know what he’s talking about when it comes to figure skating. Just last week , Dick Button told The Real Housewives of New York City ’s Bethenny Frankel, “Ice is nice, but liquor can be quicker.” Did it make sense? No, but he also suggested she needed to bend her knees and flow on the ice, which did. According to his bio on ABC, Dick Button’s knowledge of figure skating stems from the fact that he is the only skater to have won the U.S., North American, European, World and Olympic championships all in the same year. Overall, Button has won two Olympic gold medals, five straight World Champ

Brad Womack's second Bachelor season spoiled

The upcoming 15th season of The Bachelor has been spoiled by Steve Carbone, who wrote that after being cut from E!’s Bachelor special , he will “just continue to piss on their franchise by giving away spoilers.” Steve summarizes the season in more than 4,500 words, all the way through the final rose ceremony, when Brad makes his final decision. He has details of things such as the producer-prompted slap from the first woman to exit the limo, which has been teased in the promo below, and on specific dates, including one that happened after Brad was re-introduced on Dancing with the Stars. After apologizing for getting The Bachelorette 6’s ending wrong , Steve writes, “You may doubt all you want, and technically I won’t be vindicated until March 14th when it airs, but I’m not the least bit worried. I know this season I’m right. How do I know this? Because on Thanksgiving, Brad was in Palm Desert, California with [the woman he chooses] and her family celebrating Thanksgiving with them.”

With bolshie Bianca set to flee Albert Square after a “huge confrontation”, Sonia will shock her family when she reveals she knows where her sister is. Sarah Palin's caribou slaughter gets reaction but not ratings

The Social Network and West Wing writer Aaron Sorkin has written a takedown of Sarah Palin’s Alaska , the TLC series that on Sunday featured Sarah killing a caribou, which the network heavily promoted but which was ultimately watched by fewer viewers. The whole thing was pretty ludicrous, especially when Sarah insists, “the animals have the advantage” and claims she’s hunting because “there’s no grocery store nearby.” While she may actually hunt, the whole thing came across as a ratings grab (on TLC? No way!), but it failed, as the show lost 700,000 viewers compared to the previous week , down to “a new low” after setting records with its debut . People tuned in and then tuned out, although two weeks ago there was a bit of a rebound, perhaps because there was nothing else on that Sunday after Thanksgiving. PETA, never one to miss an opportunity for publicity, quoted one of its execs in a statement who said that “Sarah seems to think that resorting to violence and blood and guts may

Eastenders: Lacey Turner hated Stacey Slater’s pink Puffa jacket

December 17th, 2010 by Lisa McGarry. No comments Lacey Turner has revealed that she kept trying to lose one of her ‘EastEnders’ character’s coats. The 22-year-old actress, best known as Stacey Branning in the BBC One soap, admitted that she disliked one of her alter ego’s coats so much, she kept trying to misplace it! She joked: “Stacey’s worst outfit was definitely her pink Puffa jacket. I kept trying to lose it, but it would always reappear.” The actress admitted while she is sad to be leaving the show as part of its festive storylines, she felt it was the right time to say goodbye. Lacey explained: “I’ll stay in touch with everyone, and I’ll keep watching the show, too. I’ve had an amazing time on ‘EastEnders’, so I’m sad to say goodbye. But if I don’t go now, I never will. “I’ll miss working with Jake Wood (Max Branning) and Gillian Wright (Joan Slater). I’ve missed Charlie Clements (Bradley Branning) since he left, but we stay in touch and still meet up sometimes.” However, the a

What was his challenge to the All-Star chefs? Who went home? Keep reading for everything you missed in Wednesday night’s episode. After last week’s challenge and elimination, the 17 remaining All-Star chefs realized that this time around, things would prove to be even more difficult than they expected, and they’d all have to step up their game to win the title of Top Chef. In the kitchen, they were greeted by Padma Lakshmi and Joe Jonas (his name must always be read with the sound of screaming pre-teen girls in mind), though Dale of Season 4, who apparently lives under a rock, thought he “might be a pastry chef.” Padma Lakshmi informed the chefs that for their Quickfi

Steven Arnold thanks Coronation Street fans for support

December 9th, 2010 by Sarah. 2 Comments Steven Arnold, who of course plays Ashley Peacock, left a message for the show’s fans on its ITV website last night, thanking them for their support for his 15 year run on Corrie. December 17th, 2010 by Lisa McGarry. No comments Eastenders love cheat, manic depressive and murderess, poor old Stacey Slater has had drama-packed six years and is set to finally leave the BBC soap in an explosive storyline. In this Sunday’s edition of Fabulous magazine, actress Lacey Turner admits that she always said she would leave the show when Charlie Clements (who played her on screen husband Bradley Branning) departed. His character died in the live episode earlier this year, so now it’s time for Stacey to follow suit. The bubbly brunette said: “Charlie and I always said we’d go at the same time… For quite a while I’d been saying I was going to go and kept realising I wasn’t ready. But when Charlie said he was going last year I was like ‘Right, OK, I’m going too.’” On the storyline that will lead to her departure, Lacey added: “The whole thing hints at everything she’s been through in the last 6 years and it all comes together … I’m really happy with the way it’s all worked ou

He told the Daily Star newspaper: “We are pre-recording the dress rehearsal so that we have something to switch to in the extremely unlikely event of a terrible technical problem. “We’ve got massive security around the site and the police are helping us out. We need that because it’s a significant event. But we’re not worried. Graeme Hawley has fast action planned for tonight’s Coronation Street live show

December 9th, 2010 by Lisa McGarry. No comments Graeme Hawley is worried about dashing from scene to scene in Coronation Street’s live episode tonight. The actor – who plays John Stape in the ITV1 soap – will be seen rushing to hide the dying body of his secret accomplice Charlotte (Becky Hindley), who he brutally attacked with a hammer on Monday (06.12.10). Graeme explained: “I’ve got to sprint so fast from scene to scene that I’ve asked them to beef up my shoes with special grips because I’m worried about slipping over. “In one scene I’m in the alley, and exactly one minute and forty seconds later I’m due inside the Stape’s house. They are filmed on two completely different sets. “I timed it the other day and it took me one minute and thirty seconds to run from one to the other at full speed, which only gives me ten seconds to spare. “The worst thing is that on screen it only looks like I’ve done a six foot walk so I’m not supposed to be out of breath, I’m not sure how I’m going to
