Read on for more… We recently learned that Jennifer Lopez was burying herself in her work to keep her mind off her split with Marc Anthony, and now reports suggest that American Idol is on that list of work, and that Jennifer is nearing a deal with the show for the new season. The Wall Street journal reports that Cécile Frot-Coutaz, chief executive officer at FremantleMedia North America, which produces Idol declined to comment on the negotiation when asked, but she did tell them: “We’re in good shape.
