That doesn’t thrill Barack Obama, but Michelle Obama has a more pragmatic approach: she’s okay as long as her daughters realize that what they’re watching is awful. “Barack really thinks some of the Kardashians — when they watch that stuff — he doesn’t like that as much,” Michelle told a group of online reporters, according to iVillage . However, she added, “I sort of feel like if we’re talking about it, and I’m more concerned with how they take it in — what did you learn when you watched that. No comments Michelle Collins has revealed that she agreed to star in ‘Coronation Street’ so she could pay her daughter’s university fees. The former ‘EastEnders’ actress has been cast as new Rovers Return landlady Stella and will hit our screens next month. Today she explained she agreed to take up the role so she can plan ahead and make sure she can fund her 14-year-old daughter Maia Rose’s further education. She said: “It is quite nice to have a bit of security in my life because my daughter is 14 and will be off to uni – so she will be able to go now.” Michelle – who will cause shockwaves across the cobbles when she reveals she is Leanne Battersby’s (Jane Danson) long-lost mum – admitted she is already enjoying her time on the ITV1 show, as it is the “only other soap” other than ‘EastEnders’ she would want to be in.
