No comments Several of the members of Corrie’s cast joined campaigners from Project Underdog last Friday to record the charity’s new single. The Project supports youngsters in inner-city areas by involving them in making music and participating in sports. Last year, the charity released a cover version of Linkin Park’s hit, Iridescent. The Sun reports that this year, the new single will feature the voices of Corrie stars Chris Fountain , Ryan Thomas, Lisa George, Catherine Tyldesley , Georgia May Foote, Ian Puleston-Davies and Peter Gunn, who volunteered their time to the charity. No comments Star of stage, TV and movies, Bill Nighy, has revealed that he can’t bring himself to watch his own performances, and he never reads his reviews. Bill, who’s starred in blockbuster movies such as Harry Potter, The Boat That Rocked and Love Actually, told the PA, “I can’t take it. Frankly, I can’t pay the price so I don’t do it any more. “I never used to be able to resist reading them, got burned a couple of times and thought, ‘I can’t take it!’ “Similarly, if I’m doing theatre and I’m told I peak in the second act during a particular passage, that’s not good for me either, because I’ll become too wonderful.” Bill also went on to reveal that he’s always hated having to audition for parts. The St. Pete Times’ Eric Deggans reports that “the possibility Hansen might fulfill his longtime dream of competing on Dancing With the Stars in March 2012” is “the kind of success they could scarcely have predicted when [executive producer Thom] Beers first suggested putting a film crew on their boats for the first time.” Specifically, Sig said, “So they’re looking at it for next March and I’ll do it. Teen Mom »     by Andy Dehnart / January 3, 2011, 7:42 PM Teen Mom star Amber Portwood was released from jail last week, but not before a judge forced her to reveal in open court how much she earns every year: $280,000, which is two six-month $140,000 contracts. Amber cannot contact her former fiance Gary Shirley after being “arrested Monday on two felony counts and a misdemeanor count of domestic battery and one felony count of neglect of a dependant,” The Herald Bulletin reports . That was the direct result of footage of her beating Shirley, which aired Sept. 28. That the judge asked Amber to reveal her salary, over objections from her attorey, “forcing Portwood to reveal that she makes $140,000 for a six-month contract with MTV. If she works the entire year, Portwood said, the 20-year-old makes $280,000 annually,” the paper reported. No comments Lacey Turner is easy to please The ‘EastEnders’ actress – who will make her last appearance as Stacey Branning on tomorrow’s episode – has admitted that she never asks her friends and relatives for any presents, but admits she would be upset if she didn’t see the same things in her stocking every year. She said: “I never ask for anything. As long as I get my usual quota of socks I’ll be happy.” Lacey will be spending Christmas with her family and though she likes to help out, she is doing her best to stay out of the kitchen. She admitted: “I’ll be at home with my family and we will be watching ‘EastEnders’. We’ve done so for years – it’s a family tradition. “We all help out with Christmas lunch, but I’m a rubbish cook so I’ll offer to do something else. The presenter formerly fronted the breakfast TV show but when it changed from GMTV to Daybreak, she was replaced by Christine Bleakley and Adrian Chiles and reappointed as entertainment editor. Since it’s relaunch, Daybreak has suffered from falling ratings and in a revealing (check out those pictures!!) interview with The News Of The World’s Fabulous magazine , Kate admitted that she doesn’t know why it hasn’t proved popular. She mused: “I can’t say what’s gone wrong. It’s not for me to start saying all that. The viewers will make up their own minds. He said he “didn’t like it” that Channel 4 decided to air first episode on 4oD from yesterday. David, 36, tweeted: “It makes me sad for TV as a medium.
