No comments Fresh Meat stars Jack Whitehall and James Buckley have both hit out at the BBC’s decision to axe long running show, Shooting Stars , while their co-star Zawe Ashton has revealed that he’d be “excited” by a movie spin-off of the show. Beginning with what Jack and James had to say over the BBC ditching Shooting Stars, Jack began by telling the Sun, “I’m really upset, I love that show. “I’m really annoyed shows like that don’t get more commitment”. And The Inbetweeners star Simon Bird also waded in with his view about the show being axed, saying, “Shooting Stars was one of my favourite shows when I was growing up and it’s been brilliant since it came back.” James Buckley, who was once a guest on Shooting Stars added, “It’s the only panel show I’ve ever done… “I love Vic and Bob and I wanted to be a part of it. Whale Wars will spin-off series following Sea Shepherd's new Faroe Islands campaign

Animal Planet announced today that Whale Wars will spin-off a companion series that follows Sea Shepherd’s efforts to stop pilot whale slaughter in the Danish territory of the Faroe Islands. The Faroe Islands Project “began filming July 15 and will continue through the end of the Sea Shepherd’s ‘Operation Ferocious Isles’ campaign. No airdate or episode number has been determined yet,” according to the network’s announcement. Sea Shepherd has both the Steve Irwin and the newly renamed Brigitte Bardot, the interceptor vessel that’s on the current season identified as the Gojira, but due to an unrelated legal conflict , the Steve Irwin is being held in port. ( Paul Watson has asked for financial help to free the ship.) Sea Shepherd announced its Operation Ferocious Isles earlier this month, saying that they “an improved plan of action to stop the horrific annual slaughter of thousands of endangered pilot whales known as the ‘Grind’,” and “intends to deploy acoustical devices to lay ...

No comments BBC One has revealed that they are planning to launch an online spin-off for their popular drama ‘Waterloo Road’. The new show – which will be available on the BBC website and via the red button service from today onwards – will catch up with the unruly students who left the fictional school at the end of the last series. Featuring a reunion party at single mum Janeece Bryant’s (Chelsee Healey) house, ‘Waterloo Road Reunited’ will document the lives of a number of ex-pupils, with plenty of “bombshells” set to be dropped. An insider told The Sun newspaper: “Much has changed – with some of the ex-pupils flourishing and others feeling lost in the real world. “Paul (Thomas Milner) tries to move his relationship with Aleesha (Lauren Thomas) to a new level and it’s clear to everyone there’s chemistry between Bolton (Tachia Newall) and Michaela (Zaraah Abrahams). No comments Coronation Street bosses have awarded on-screen couple Ken and Deirdre Barlow their very own spinoff show. The webisodes will show the couple chatting in bed, before they turn the lights off and go to sleep each evening. A statement on Corrie’s website announced: “With spilt tea on the sheets, flickering street lights from the cobbles and snoring habits high on the agenda, the night-time natter provides one last chance before the day ends for the bickering Barlows to discuss their differing approaches to life and living.” The series will be titled titled Ken and Deirdre’s Bedtime Stories and consist of ten three-minute episodes.
