The So You Think You Can Dance judging panel is reverting back to its configuration from a few years ago: Mary Murphy is returning and Mia Michaels quit , and now judge and producer Nigel Lythgoe has revealed that Adam Shankman will only be an occasional guest judge. That means that when the show debuts next Thursday, the panel will be just like it was from seasons three to five: Nigel, Mary, and a guest judge, including Debbie Allen. A Fox press release confirms that Nigel and Mary are “resident judges” and the others, including Adam, are “guest judges.” That is excellent, awesome news.
