Teresa Guidice Versus Victoria Gotti On The Celebrity Apprentice

« Kim Kardashian Spends Birthday In Museum Without Kris Humphries | Home October 22, 2011 11:30 AM by Jackie Morrison Last week Teresa Giudice was in the hot seat during the first part of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion . Between accusations back and forth with Caroline Manzo and name calling at her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice fired back at her cast mates. This past season on her reality show has seen the bonds of loyalty between the Manzo family and Giudice clan break irreparably. Now Teresa Giudice is joining the cast of Celebrity Apprentice with Donald Trump and Victoria Gottti. Reports so far hint that the Mafia princess and bestselling author is poised to rumble with the New Jersey housewife on the set. Victoria Gotti is the daughter of late mob boss John Gotti and is just as tough as the ladies on Mob Wives. She is going to rival Teresa Giudice on the Celebrity Apprentice and the Italian-American women are both known for their strong personalities. M...

RHONJ's Teresa Giudice is reportedly on Celebrity Apprentice

The Celebrity Apprentice has another likely contestant: The Real Housewives of New Jersey table-flipper Teresa Giudice. That’s according to a report in Life & Style , which quotes an unspecified “source who said, “Following in NeNe Leakes’ footsteps, Teresa is on the next season of the show.” Besides Teresa, it seems likely that Clay Aiken will also be on the show , which will likely start production within the next six weeks. In praise of SYTYCD's surprisingly awesome celebrity guest judges

This season, So You Think You Can Dance brought back judge Mary Murphy to sit on the panel along with executive producer Nigel Lythgoe and one or two guest judges every week. With reality shows sometimes bringing on celebrities to promote themselves or their projects, they are rarely worthy of much more than a fast-forward button, but the opposite has been true on the Fox dance competition series this summer. The celebrities who’ve been on the panel include Megan Mullally, Debbie Reynolds, Kristin Chenoweth, Carmen Electra, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Neil Patrick Harris, and Lady Gaga. With the notable exception of Carmen Electra, whose awfulness was mitigated because choreographer Travis Wall judged the same week and did exceptionally well (he’d be a fantastic permanent addition to the panel instead of, say, Adam Shankman), they have all been strong judges. They haven’t just been acceptable, either, reaching the low bar people would understandably set for a guest celebrity judge. But eac...

Also on this season: Jennifer Gimenez, the actor who ran Sober House and is herself a recovering addict, and Dr. John R. Richard Hatch gets 9 months in prison, will miss Celebrity Apprentice finale

Richard Hatch was sentenced to nine months in prison today, after being convicted of probation violation in January. The AP reports that the judge gave him “three months longer than the guidelines to deter him and others who would flout the terms of supervised release.” The Providence Journal reports that U.S. District Court Judge William Smith “ordered Hatch, of Newport, to surrender to the U.S. marshals to begin serving his sentence on Monday” and then “Hatch is ordered to serve 26 months of supervised release, requiring him to pay 25 percent of his gross income to the IRS.” While Hatch plans to appeal, this means he will miss The Celebrity Apprentice’s finale in May, and wouldn’t be able to return for Survivor this summer, if producers wanted to bring him back. (There were refuted rumors that producers wanted him to face off against Jonny Fairplay.) Update: Yesterday, Richard posted a note on Facebook that said, in part, “I have done everything ever asked of me by probation, b...

Celebrity Rehab's Jeff Conaway dead at 60

Celebrity Rehab cast member and Taxi star Jeff Conaway is dead after being in a coma for some time, though not from a drug overdose, which might surprise those who watched his drug addiction brought painfully to life on VH1. He was 60 years old, and is the second Celebrity Rehab star to die, following Mike Starr’s death in March . His manager wrote on Twitter that Jeff died at 10:30 a.m. PT, and added, “We loved him as a person, respected him as an artist and he will be always remembered.” Radar first reported the news and has an obituary that summarized his other work. Vikki Lizzi—who appeared on Celebrity Rehab and who VH1 calls his “enabler” —was not allowed to be at his bedside when he died. Jeff’s sister Michelle told Radar , “She was not present. Jeff was surrounded by his immediate family and it was very peaceful.” Jeff was in an induced coma, according to Dr. Drew , as a result of sepsis and pneumonia. Drew said there is “No evidence of intentional OD.” A week ago, Dr. D...

Celebrity Apprentice has a winner, raised $3.1 million for charity, but falls flat in its final hours

It was the most dramatic The Celebrity Apprentice season ever and the least dramatic finale, which ended with Donald Trump giving John Rich the win for no clear reason. Marlee Matlin was not fired, nor did Trump “hire” John Rich, perhaps an acknowledgement of their status as virtual equals, or perhaps just discarding terminology that makes no sense with the celebrity edition of the show. Despite the confetti, it was an oddly flat and abrupt ending to what has been the franchise’s craziest season ever, producing crazy moment after crazy moment , all of which gave us new understanding of the celebrities involved. John Rich’s charity, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, receives $250,000, which brings the season total for fundraising to a TV series record, NBC says, of $3,120,852. Both John Rich and Marlee Matlin visited their charities (she was playing for The Starkey Hearing Foundation) to see their work in action, and also performed a song together, “For the Kids,” which ended wit...

Celebrity Apprentice’s Star Jones Calls NeNe Leakes An Animal!

« America’s Next Top Model Preview: The Final Four | Home | Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings – Tori Spelling On the Arabian Nights Wedding » May 3, 2011 03:00:50 by Shayla Perry Can’t we all just get along?! When Bravo ‘s Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes last appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show , she called her Celebrity Apprentice co-star, Star Jones “a disaster.” But during her own interview with the talk show host, which aired today (May 3), Jones had some pretty harsh things to say about Leakes as well…. After Sunday night’s episode of NBC ‘s Celebrity Apprentice , where fans were finally able to see the vicious confrontation between Real Housewives of Atlanta ‘s NeNe Leakes and Star Jones, the former View co-host made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and dished about the seemingly one-sided spat. “What were you thinking when NeNe [Leakes] was going off like that?” Ellen asked. “I was thinking my grandmother is going to watch this,” said Star. “I wa...

Celebrity Apprentice’s LaToya Jackson: I Was Thrown To The Wolves

« The Biggest Loser: Schedule Changes Starting This Week! | Home | The Voice: Get an Extended Preview of Tomorrow’s Premiere Episode! » April 25, 2011 02:30:53 by Shayla Perry She may not have made it to the finale, but when LaToya Jackson was fired on Celebrity Apprentice , she left the NBC reality show having raised a total of $65,000 for her charity, AIDS Project L.A., and gaining the respect of Donald Trump himself. In her official Exit Interview, LaToya reflects on her Celebrity Apprentice experience, and Star Jones and NeNe Leakes’ strategic move to have her eliminated from the competition. LaToya Jackson surprised a lot of people during her run on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice — especially Donald Trump. Once thought of as a soft-spoken pushover with little to contribute to the team, in a few short weeks, Jackson managed to prove that there’s more to her than just her last name. Though her team members didn’t exactly see things that way, Trump rushed to LaToya’s defense in the...

Gary Busey, genius saboteur and/or crazy person, finally exits Celebrity Apprentice

Gary Busey has finally exited The Celebrity Apprentice, just as his brand of insanity was starting to get old. As Donald Trump is fond of telling himself, he had no choice but to fire Gary, whose antics have essentially made John Rich, Lil’ Jon, and Meat Loaf as crazy as he is. Meat Loaf was reduced to a stuttering mess in the boardroom, where Trump framed the firing as essentially for the benefit of Meat Loaf’s mental health. It was for ours’, too. While Gary’s ridiculousness has been entertaining, it was very frustrating during last night’s episode, most likely because the editing let us see him through the other three men’s eyes. John Rich’s reaction told us everything we needed to know. He’s so mild-mannered and he has clearly been driven to insanity, if not a spectacular Meat Loaf-style breakdown , by Gary’s antics, and last night, the team—except Meat Loaf—basically checked out to let Gary fail. The episode was edited to suggest that John Rich’s theory was right: Gary Busey is e...

Celebrity Apprentice’s Gary Busey Endorses Donald Trump for President, Slams Team Backbone

« Dancing With The Stars: Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas Samba | Home | The Biggest Loser: Brett Returns As The New Zealand Trip Continues Tonight! » April 19, 2011 12:00:48 by Shayla Perry Donald Trump is obviously a big fan of Gary Busey , and despite being fired by the real estate tycoon on Sunday’s episode of Celebrity Apprentice , Busey admitted that he’s a fan of Trump’s as well, telling NBC ‘s Today show that he “would be an absolutely good” president. An endorsement from Gary Busey could  be either really good, or REALLY bad, depending on whether you think the eccentric actor is a genius, or clinically insane. If you ask the members of team Backbone, they’re sure to tell you the latter, but Gary doesn’t think too highly of them either! Not everyone is convinced that Donald Trump is really going to run for President of the United States in 2012, but if he does, one person he can count on to campaign for him is Gary Busey. In a recent appearance on the Today show, Busey said...

Celebrity Apprentice’s Star Jones SLAMS NeNe Leakes in Interview

« The Biggest Loser: Cast Heads To New Zealand This Week! | Home April 12, 2011 12:00:30 by Shayla Perry Star Jones may have a lot to say in the boardroom, but when it comes to talking about her feud with The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s NeNe Leakes , the former View co-host has stayed relatively quiet…until now. In a new interview, the “Satan’s Sisters” author slams her Celebrity Apprentice co-star and even brings up NeNe’s stripper past! Oh snap! “You never get involved in a pig fight,” Star Jones tells Popeater.com’s Rob Shuter of her feud with Real Housewives of Atlanta star, NeNe Leakes. “If you do, three things happen: you get dirty, you get tired, and only the pig has fun. It diminishes me to talk about her. I have so many other things going on in my life.” One of those things would be the release of her new book, “Satan’s Sisters,” which Jones has been promoting on a variety of shows; each time, doing her best to avoid trashing her Celebrity Apprentice co-star, NeNe Leake...

Celebrity Apprentice’s Jose Canseco to be Sued for Celebrity Boxing Switch

« Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings – Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s Tips to Planning the Perfect Wedding | Home | Dancing With The Stars: Week Three Results » April 5, 2011 04:00:58 by Shayla Perry After allegedly sending his twin brother, Ozzie, to fight in his place during a celebrity boxing match, Celebrity Apprentice star Jose Canseco is being sued for breach of contract by Hollywood Boxing Federation President Damon Feldman. Keep reading for all the details! “Yes, there is going to be a lawsuit filed,” Feldman’s attorney Bryan Konoski tells Radar Online. “It’s certainly at a minimum going to be  for $6,500. That’s $5,000 for the amount wire transferred under the contract and then an additional $1,500 for travel and things like that and there could be other damages associated with the claim.” Konoski says that the paperwork is currently being prepared by Damon Feldman’s other attorney, and will be filed within the next 24-48 hours, adding, “Odds are we’ll file in munic...

Celebrity Apprentice remixed: Meat Loaf plus Looney Tunes

It’s difficult to imagine Meat Loaf’s freak-out on The Celebrity Apprentice getting any more entertaining. It’s definitely an instant reality TV classic. Jimmy Kimmel Live has helped to immortalize it by replacing the video, using the audio on top of an old Looney Tunes cartoon. Meat Loaf is Yosemite Sam, Bugs Bunny makes a fantastic Gary Busey, and we all win. View the original article here

Celebrity Apprentice: Lisa Rinna Reveals Star Jones’ Plot

« Secret Millionaire: Want To Become A Secret Millionaire? | Home | Reality TV Magazine Contest! » April 1, 2011 02:00:53 by Shayla Perry When soap star Lisa Rinna was fired from Celebrity Apprentice , she suspected that some of the women on her team – namely Star Jones and Dionne Warwick – had planned to have her fired from the start. But while co-hosting Access Hollywood Live with Kit Hoover, Rinna not only revealed that her suspicions were true, she also told which of her co-stars on the NBC reality show let her know about the sinister scheme. “I have to thank those girls because they made me look really good. You made me look real good girls!” Lisa Rinna said of her Celebrity Apprentice co-stars, Dionne Warwick and Star Jones . “We had moments where we got along. We had a good time… We’re raising money for charity. Women get like that, you know?” Rinna admits that when she signed on to do the show, she was initially excited about her all-girl team; but those feeling soon went...
