Teresa Guidice Versus Victoria Gotti On The Celebrity Apprentice

« | Home

October 22, 2011 11:30 AM by Jackie Morrison

Last week Teresa Giudice was in the hot seat during the first part of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion. Between accusations back and forth with Caroline Manzo and name calling at her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice fired back at her cast mates. This past season on her reality show has seen the bonds of loyalty between the Manzo family and Giudice clan break irreparably. Now Teresa Giudice is joining the cast of Celebrity Apprentice with Donald Trump and Victoria Gottti. Reports so far hint that the Mafia princess and bestselling author is poised to rumble with the New Jersey housewife on the set.

Victoria Gotti is the daughter of late mob boss John Gotti and is just as tough as the ladies on Mob Wives. She is going to rival Teresa Giudice on the Celebrity Apprentice and the Italian-American women are both known for their strong personalities. Many fans are wondering just how intense it’s going to be if and when the ladies clash.

“Donald Trump is a casting genius,” a TV insider has been quoted as saying. “Putting these two strong Italian ladies together in a competition and having camera crews follow them around is going to be TV gold.”

Teresa Giudice has had a lot of drama to deal with in recent years. She has clashed with former co-star Danielle Staub, Kim G, and now is no longer friends with Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo. She is dealing with financial problems and constant tension with her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa Gorga. Herr husband Joe Gorga has legal problems of his own and is rumored to be cheating while cousin Kathy Wakile and her struggle for civility. During the first part of the reunion episode it was revealed by Caroline Manzo that Teresa Giudice is the cause of estrangement between the senior Mrs. Manzo and her youngest sibling Dina Manzo. So far, Dina Manzo had said that she is not taking sides in the fight between her older sister and friend Teresa Giudice.  Producers are hoping for even more explosive battles with Victoria Gotti on the set of Celebrity Apprentice.

“Taping ‘Housewives’ is easy compared to taping the ‘Apprentice,’” a TV insider has said. “First of all, you have a 5:30 a.m. wake-up call every day and then are given a task which you have two days to complete and then you start all over again.”

Former contestants have said that the Celebrity Apprentice is a much tougher show to be involved in compared to The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Donald Trump may just find himself another season of high ratings according to TV insiders if Teresa Giudice and Victoria Gotti get into a turf war with one another on the show.
