No comments King Robert and Ned are set to go head to head in the next episode of Game Of Thrones, titled The Wolf and the Lion. Robert discovers the plot to steal his throne by the newly allied Daenerys’ and the Dothrakis. In order to secure his future, he decides to make a pre-emptive attack and strikes out at the Targaryens first. The decision drives a wedge between the King and Ned, as he takes umbrage with the fact that his master wants to “kill a child.” The row causes bad feeling between the old friends and casts a shadow on Ned’s role as the King’s hand. After the pilot episode of the medieval fantasy dram aired on Sunday night, the US TV network ordered a second season. They made the same decision after the première of Boardwalk Empire in 2010. The series, based on author George R. R. Martin’s best-selling A Song of Ice and Fire series of novels, chronicles the violent dynastic struggles among noble families for control of the Iron Throne of Westeros. Speaking about the recommission decision, HBO’s president Michael Lombardo said: “We are delighted by the way [writers] David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have brought George R.R.
