No comments David Walliams completes another marathon challenge for Comic Relief, staying awake for 24 hours in the UK’s first-ever live online streamed 24 hour panel show. Speaking at the end of his latest feat of endurance: Asked how he was feeling after his marathon 24 Hour Panel People challenge, he said “Like I’m descending into madness! No it was fine, but it does take its toll on you just physically with things like your eyes not being able to focus so well anymore on the autocue.” On whether it was as tough as he thought it would be: “Yes it was as tough as I thought it would be, particularly at the end just having to keep the show together, being so exhausted and not being able to think straight any more, especially being the host of Never Mind The Buzzcocks and having to make the rounds work.. The So You Think You Can Dance judging panel is reverting back to its configuration from a few years ago: Mary Murphy is returning and Mia Michaels quit , and now judge and producer Nigel Lythgoe has revealed that Adam Shankman will only be an occasional guest judge. That means that when the show debuts next Thursday, the panel will be just like it was from seasons three to five: Nigel, Mary, and a guest judge, including Debbie Allen. A Fox press release confirms that Nigel and Mary are “resident judges” and the others, including Adam, are “guest judges.” That is excellent, awesome news. Nigel revealed this in a press release letter to critics that said, “Joining me and Mary will be rotating guest judges Debbie Allen, Adam Shankman, Robin Antin, Lil’ C, Tyce Diorio, Toni Redpath and Jason Gilkison.” View the original article here

No comments David Walliams is bringing his love of tough endurance challenges to his day job when he takes on the role of anchoring the UK’s first ever 24 hour panel show for Red Nose Day – a live online event that will then broadcast on both BBC Three and BBC One. 24 Hour Panel People is set to be an incredible one off occasion that will require David to be at his comedic best for 24 hours as throughout the day he switches between the roles of host, team captain and panellist, along with some other surprising challenges as well.
