No comments Waterloo Road bosses have reportedly sacked Paul Nicholls from the drama, after he spent only three days filming. The former ‘EastEnders’ actor was announced as having landed the role of PE teacher Jez Diamond in the BBC One school drama last month, but reportedly behaved ‘erratically’ while working with fellow cast members and of the three days he turned up, on two he was said to be substantially late. A source said: “Paul is a lovely guy but he is in a dark place at the moment. We let him go because it wasn’t working out and hopefully some time off now will give Paul the opportunity to sort himself out.” Another insider added told The Mirror: “His behaviour on set was very odd.
