Emily Maynard will be the next Bachelorette

The Bachelorette 8 will continue the tradition of drawing from the pool of previous seasons’ cast members for its lead and star Emily Maynard, who broke up with Brad Womack last summer after meeting him on The Bachelor 15. This has been perpetually rumored since last summer, and in late December, tabloid reports said she’d been asked and was close to signing on. Now, Reality Steve reports that she said yes, and that “they are moving locations for filming for the first time in about 10 seasons” to her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. Production begins in March, which is when anyone who lives near there should find the cast in public and take lots of photos, so they can be threatened by ignorant crew members . The Bachelor’s Chris Harrison Reveals Ultimate Bachelor And Bachelorette

« Jim Bob Duggar Announces He Is Voting for Rick Santorum | Home January 03, 2012 01:35 PM by Amelia Cooper Ben Flajnik might be this season’s most eligible bachelor on ABC’s The Bachelor , but host Chris Harrison reveals that there are two celebrities he would love to see on the show. When asked which two he would pick, the popular host did not even hesitate. It should come as no surprise that Chris Harrison would choose two of Hollywood’s most eligible – George Clooney and Jennifer Anniston. ”[Clooney] is the ultimate and most unattainable bachelor…and I think Jennifer Aniston has been so troubled in love, so she would be a perfect candidate,” he said. George Clooney is known for his deep-seated bachelor ways. After his marriage to actress Talia Balsam ended in 1993, George Clooney has claimed he is never going to get married again. Nearly 20 years later, he seems to be a man of his word. He is currently dating former WWE star Stacy Keibler. Jennifer Anniston’s has had unfortun...

Ashley's Bachelorette ends, and as Ben said, "I guess that's it"

The Bachelorette ended with a proposal and an acceptance as Ashley Hebert picked JP, despite her sister’s advice, and let him propose as she stood silently and who cares this was an awful, awful season even with the producers’ bullshit manufactured drama . Ashley was a terrible choice as far as interesting television is concerned, and this season was a total dud. Before Ben took his boat ride of shame, and before Ashley awkwardly chased after him shouting nice things about him to try to make him feel better, he said, “I guess that’s it.” Yes, mercifully, it is. The Bachelorette: The Bentley and Ashley Reunion

« Reality TV Listings: June 8, 2011 | Home | Jay Mohr Gives His Take on The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Thanksgiving » June 08, 2011 07:17 AM by Christine McDow In three weeks when The Bachelorette Ashley Hebert travels to Hong Kong, she is plus one bachelor. As it was confirmed earlier this month, Bentley does make a return and shows up in Hong Kong, per Ashley’s request. After she suffered such a “heartbreak” on this weeks episode , why would Ashley Hebert want Bentley to return? It was actually Ashley who insisted that Bentley return to the show. Bentley at first refused, then relented and came to Hong Kong. An insider reported to Life & Style , Ashley wanted a second chance with Bentley, so she begged producers to get him on the phone and get him on a plane out to see her. She couldn’t stop thinking about him after he left her.” Read our exclusive interview with The Bachelorette’s Jesse Csincsak! So why did Bentley finally agree? According to a friend of his, he wa...

Bentley Williams quits Bachelorette: "I'm going to make Ashley cry. I hope my hair looks okay."

Bentley Williams exited The Bachelorette last night, and thanks to brilliant editing, came off as the biggest jerk asshole the show has ever had. Just under half the episode was spent on his exit, which may have actually been the most dramatic in The Bachelorette’s history—although since he’ll be returning later this season, it doesn’t really count as an exit. The episode began with Ashley walking through a rock garden and telling us in an interview voiceover, “I completely fell in love with Bentley last night. There’s something about him that’s so sincere.” Anyone who’s ever watched a reality show knows what’s coming next: a complete lack of sincerity from Bentley, who Ashley knew before filming ever began was coming on the show for publicity, not love. Bentley never quite confirmed that, but told us in his interview, “I came in thinking that Ashley was not attractive at all. I knew for a fact that I wasn’t going to fall in love with her.” After saying goodbye to the other guys, who ...

'The Bachelorette' star to be formally announced by ABC on Monday ...

By Elizabeth Kwiatkowski, 03/11/2011 The Bachelorette's next star will be formally announced on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, ABC has announced. In addition to the announcement, the Jimmy Kimmel Live broadcast -- which will air at midnight, one hour after ABC airs the finale of The Bachelor's fifteenth season and its subsequent After the Final Rose special -- will also feature an interview with the newly-crowned The Bachelorette star. Earlier this week, Chris Harrison acknowledged that eliminated fifteenth-season The Bachelor bachelorette Ashley Hebert is a favorite for the role. "Ashley H, as far as fans go, is a big front-runner," Harrison told TV Guide about the 26-year-old dental school student from Philadelphia, PA. However, while rumors that Hebert will be The Bachelorette's seventh-season star have circulated for several weeks, Harrison had recently insisted the show hadn't selected its next Bachelorette yet. "There will be a Bachelorette ...

Drunk Bachelorette suitor Tim: "I don't have any excuses"

One of the more notable The Bachelorette was Tim, who was so drunk he fell asleep and had to be led to a car and sent home before the rose ceremony. He talked to reporters today, and refreshingly, did not blame the editing or anything else for his behavior. “I don’t have any excuses,” he said, according to ET . His drunkenness was “extremely humiliating,” he said. “I literally had to turn it off, it was nauseating.” And he insisted he went on the show to find a life partner: “Of course I went on ‘The Bachelorette’ to find love.” advertisement (comments are below) View the original article here

Bachelorette spoiled down to the final four before Ashley meets her drunk, masked suitors

The Bachelorette 7 kicked off last night with not-quite-a-dentist-yet Ashley Hebert meeting her 25 suitors, including Tim, a man who was so drunk he fell asleep and had to be carried off to a car by other men; West, the man who tabloids are insinuating was involved in his wife’s death ; and Jeff, a man who wore a mask throughout the evening, denying it was creepy. It was an okay start, as good as relatively dull Ashley could provide, and at the very least, provided many opportunities for Bachelorette poetry . The show also started with Ashley telling host Chris Harrison—who has actually insightful tweets during the show, and they aren’t smarmy or obnoxious like his hosting—that she heard from a mutual friend that one bachelor, Bentley, was there just to promote himself. (That sounds familiar , producers! Try harder with the drama that tries too hard.) But while she asked him to be genuine and tell her everything, she forgot to be genuine and tell him everything she thinks she knows....

Bachelorette Ali more concerned about her hair than staples in head from kayak accident

The Bachelorette 6 star Ali Fedotowsky was injured in a kayaking accident on Sunday, but not enough to stop being concerned about her appearance and hair. Her spokesperson told Us Weekly , “Ali and Roberto had a little mishap when their kayak capsized this weekend. Ali was taken to the hospital and had 5 staples put in her head.
