Fans of the hit BBC soap will know how Shepherd’s character, Michael Moon , is currently at loggerheads with his estranged wife, Janine Butcher ( Charlie Brooks ), in a custody battle over there young daughter, Scarlet. No comments As we reported yesterday , Corrie star Michael Le Vell has been cleared of all charges brought against him over an alleged rape , and today, the Daily Mirror reports that though relieved and “overjoyed” that his ordeal is over, Michael has “been through hell”. As you’re probably aware, an unnamed woman claimed Le Vell – whose real name is Michael Turner – had raped her when she was six years old, however, the Crown Prosecution dismissed the case after it found that there was insufficient evidence to bring before a court. As part of the episode’s ‘big twist’ Gary Barlow chose to vote off guitar playing James Michael, Kelly Rowland picked pink haired Amelia Lily, Tulisa Contostavlos axed bubbly 2 Shoes and Louis Walsh said goodbye to singing soldier Jonjo Kerr. The mentors all seemed upset to have to eliminate one of their own contestants, who they hand picked at judges houses and both female stars Kelly and Tulisa wept as they delivered their verdicts. No comments As fans of Coronation Street will know, Michael Le Vell – who plays mechanic Kevin Webster – has recently been bailed pending further enquiries into an allegation of sexual assault that has been made against him. And the Daily Star report that his co-stars have been told to refrain from commenting on the allegations to the media. Last week, Le Vell’s co-star Sally Dynevor, who plays his on-screen wife, told viewers of the Alan Titchmarsh show that she supported Michael “100%.” A show insider told the paper, “The advice to them is, ‘Say nothing’. “If they must mention what is happening to Michael, then they have been advised to just keep it simple with a few words of support.” Michael “strenuously” denies the allegations made against him. A partial cast list for the fifth season of VH1’s Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew has been published, and it includes The Real Housewives of DC ’s Tareq and Michaele Salahi and Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael Lohan. TMZ cites “sources connected to the production” to report that the cast includes those three, plus, New York Mets pitcher Dwight “Doc” Gooden, and actors Bai Ling and Jeremy Jackson. Last Friday Alfie and Kat were seen considering a split, however this evening Alfie’s cousin Michael will urge them to give their marriage another go and had said: “You can’t split up. No comments A few months ago rumours were circulating that Jonathan Ross had managed to convince George Michael to give him a tell all interview. Simon Cowell was masterminding the whole thing for primetime TV and the show would go out on ITV1 and be similar to the format of Piers Morgan’s Life Stories. However the show never happened, reportedly because Cowell thought many of George’s revelations would be too graphic and hard hitting for the usual X Factor watching audience. The couple, who present ‘The Zone’ together, tied the knot in a penthouse suite at the top of the Trump SoHo Hotel in snow bound Manhattan, New York. Former GMTV showbiz correspondent Michael, 35, wore a Vivienne Westwood tartan suit for the nuptials while Angellica, 34, wore a 1920s style white dress. Speaking about the couple’s day, Angellica wrote on her facebook page: “You can call me Mrs Underwood – It was a magical day.” She also posted on twitter, confirming: “Yes, the rumours are true.
