The ‘ Glee ’ star will not be joining his co-stars for a series of European concert dates next year and is hoping to play shows across the globe in support of his debut solo album. He told TV show ‘Extra’: “I go right into rehearsals after Christmas. “This is the only time I have off, really, so that’s why we’re kinda getting it in now. When ‘Glee’ goes on hiatus in April, I’m gonna start doing a big tour.” Earlier this year, Matthew’s ‘Glee’ character, teacher Will Schuester, performed three songs with actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who was making a guest appearance. NBC is planning to air a series next summer that combines Survivor and The Bachelor spin-off Bachelor Pad, but also sounds a little bit like I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!. The show, Love in the Wild , is produced by former Survivor executive producer Tom Shelly, who has moved on to do such shows as Dating in the Dark . On Love in the Wild , “[10] men and 10 women looking for love will somehow pair up each week and compete in a series of physically and emotionally taxing competitions, and those who win will “get a better chance to get to know each other in luxurious surroundings,” according to Variety. New York Magazine broke news of the show last month, when the format was still being hashed out. Here’s the worst part: It sounds like the cast members will be somewhat coddled.
