Martin Tonight’s episode of Project Runway began with a surprise twist from last week’s continued episode. The designers met Tim and Heidi on the runway where they learned Team Dream Team and Team Keeping It Real were no more. Instead, the designers would be working in smaller groups for this week’s challenge. Keep reading to see how it all went down. The twelve remaining designers were told they would be working in pairs this week and they were going to be able to choose their partner. Samantha won the challenge so she got first pick. Teenagers win: American Idol heads into its bland teen country finale

American Idol has its final two, and they are the youngest finalists in the show’s history. Congratulations, teenage voters and old people with bad taste: You have given us a country music-heavy finale and two finalists with the stage presence of paper bags. Yes, Lauren Alaina, 16, and Scotty McCreery, 17, are the final two, making this two weeks in a row now where the strongest performer and musician has gone home, as Haley Reinhart, 20, was eliminated. And it’s not because people stopped caring or voting: About 95 million votes were cast, which Fox says was “the highest number of votes ever for a non-finale episode.” Next week, the final two episodes move to Tuesday, when the final two will each perform, and Wednesday, when we’ll gather for the traditional two-hour live blog/support group to make it through the parade of post-apocalypse horror that awaits us. After dancing patriotic numbers , many of the cast are speaking out about their love for the stars and stripes of our country, including the international cast members. Kendra Wilkinson told People Magazine, “It’s so uplifting. It’s such an honor to be dancing to ‘Yankee Doodle Boy.’ I’m so proud. I’m such a proud American . There’s no way I could have been down tonight. Survivor Chase's song on reunion "opened some pretty big doors" in country music

During the Survivor Nicaragua finale in December, Jeff Probst asked runner-up Chase Rice to perform a song, and that exposure has helped Chase, who’s now working with Garth Brooks’ former manager. After Chase performed “Buzz Back,” it was released as a single (listen on iTunes) , and country music stations are now broadcasting it. That “opened some pretty big doors, I think,” Chase told the Asheville Citizen-Times . And now he wants to have another song become a NASCAR promo on ESPN: “I’d like to get involved in NASCAR through my music.
