No comments Channel 4 have today announced that they plan to screen an updated version of the original documentary based on Amy Winehouse’s rise to fame to now include her untimely death, originally compiled by Jacques Peretti in 2008, Broadcast reports. The documentary is being said to be adapted to include from the end of the original footage to include up till her death on Saturday. The film investigates how the 27-year-old went from being one of the most talented singers of her generation, to falling into a path of self destruction which led to her death. It includes interviews with friends and family, and delves into the troubled relationships in her life, such as with ex husband Blake Civil-Fielder, and the many attempts at intervention by her desperate and helpless parents.
