Christina Aguilera signs up to judge NBC's The Voice with Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine

The Voice »     by Andy Dehnart / March 2, 2011, 2:57 PM NBC confirmed today that Christina Aguilera will judge—er, be a “musician coach”—on The Voice , along with Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine. In a press release quote, Christina/the publicist who wrote the quote said, “To be given the opportunity to help shape new artists’ careers and mentor them to see their dreams come to fruition is a task I welcome with open arms.” And producer Mark Burnett insists in his quote that “my first choice for a female coach had to be Christina Aguilera.” View the original artic...

Cee-Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine may become judges for NBC's The Voice

The Voice »     by Andy Dehnart / February 23, 2011, 9:18 PM NBC’s Mark Burnett-produced singing competition The Voice is talking to two musicians, Cee-Lo Green and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, about judging the summer series, and Christina Aguilera may join as the third judge. That’s according to James Hibberd, who reports that “[p]roducers also considered Lenny Kravitz, Roger Daltrey, Mary J. Blige, John Legend and Enrique Iglesias,” and notes that Aguilera, while not yet confirmed, “would obviously be an enormous name for any talent show.” The show debuts later this spring, and as long as Cee-Lo Green wears his Grammy outfit and says “F U” to people he rejects, I think he’ll be great. And Christina Aguilera has certainly proven she’s entertaining recently. View the original article here
