No comments Gossip Girl’s executive producer Josh Safran has promised viewers that there will be some exciting cliffhangers in the final two episodes of season four. The instalments are titled ‘The Wrong Goodbye’ and ‘Shattered Bass’ and though there will be some surprising turns of events, Safran says the finale will make clear the path of season five. He told E!Online: “Episodes 21 and 22 take place in a little more than one night. And then there’s a little more jumping ahead like we have in the past. The 23-year-old actor is best known for as young lothario Chuck Bass in the hit TV show and although he has enjoyed the role and is thankful for the opportunity he yearns to work on something different. He said: “It’s all about the work, you know; the feeling you get when you connect to the work. And that’s what I had with Chuck Bass in the beginning – I was fascinated by him. But now, to be completely honest, I’m ready to do something else. No comments The executive producers of Gossip Girl have admitted that they have been inundated with complaints from unhappy viewers, who hate Dan and Blairs new romance. Stephanie Savage and Josh Safran confessed that most of the disgruntled fans would rather see Blair (Leighton Meester) back with Chuck (Ed Westwick) and not dating aspiring writer Dan Humphries. “The people who love Dan and Blair we don’t hear from right now because they are loving the story,” Safran told Zap2it. “And the people who don’t love the story are the ones you hear from, and then vice versa.” “Whenever there’s a change, you sort of hear from the angriest group the most. The 24-year-old actress – who plays a beauty queen-turned-musician alongside a recovering addict singer portrayed by Gwyneth Paltrow in ‘Country Strong’ – believes the support of her family and her strong commitment to her career will help her stay on the right path. She explained: “I think the main problem with somebody who would have so many issues is that they don’t have love in their life, and I feel like working to me is important. I want to make my family proud and I love my family. That’s what gives me the strength to do it. “I think that part of not having love, you kind of fulfil that with drugs or alcohol or any kind of addictive or abusive substance or relationship, and it will ruin you.
