What brought on this change? Keep reading for more details! The final 11 contestants have gone from the 1980's to Elton John tunes for this week’s performances, just in time for the superstar’s 64th birthday apparently. The show posted this on their official Twitter page late Friday “UPDATE: It’s official, next week’s theme is Elton John songs! And we wish the Rocket Man a very happy 64th birthday today!” and more recently posted “Anyone else brushing up on the Elton John catalog for this week’s show like we are?” as of this morning, so it looks like it is an official change of themes this week. This week the teams will perform two routines each. With double the chances to win the judges and the viewers over, which couples will come out on fire and which ones have burnt out? Each of the five remaining couples performed one ballroom dance routine and also one “instant dance” in which the couples had chosen the latin dance, but did not get their song until after their first performance.
