No comments Patsy Kensit “really appreciated” her job as an actress following her stint on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. The 43-year-old former ‘Holby City’ star – who finished in seventh place alongside professional dancer Robin Windsor in last year’s series of the BBC One show – admitted while appearing the programme lifted her “emotionally”, she found memorising complicated routines challenging. She said: “It sounds like such a cliché, but dancing really does lift you emotionally. Also, I’d been going to work for the past 38 years and taking it for granted that I can memorise a script immediately. “I’ve got a photographic memory; I’ve been using that muscle in my brain forever. I can cry on cue. I can learn pages of dialogue, but when it comes to doing a dance routine my mind could go blank at any second. It made me really appreciate my job.” Patsy revealed ...

No comments It’s been announced today that former Mistresses actor, Adam Astill, is to join the cast of Holby City, playing the role of Dan Hamilton… Speaking to The Sun, Astill described Dan as being “charismatic, confident and charming” and it seems he’s going to prove a hit with Holby’s ladies. We’ll see Astill as Dan next month when the character is introduced as a new consultant. Astill told the paper, “I’m thrilled to be joining Holby City in the footsteps of so many brilliant characters. “Dan can be charismatic, confident and charming.
