The lawsuit was originally filed last year, but was re-filed this morning to ensure that the statute of limitations would not run out. Erin Andrews claims that in 2008 at the Nashville West End Marriott she was videotaped naked through a peephole in her hotel room, causing her to suffer from anxiety and humiliation. The suspect, Michael Barrett, has since plead guilty and been convicted of stalking Erin Andrews and is currently serving 2 1/2 years in federal prison. In the invasion of privacy lawsuit Erin Andrews is suing the Nashville West End Marriott for $6 million for negligence, claiming that they allowed Michael Barrett to find out she was staying there and to book the room next door.
