The 39-year-old cricket star – who was voted off the show by his fellow contestants on Sunday night – is furious at the panellist’s comments after he was described as “gangly” and “not improving”. He said: “Of course it hurts – you are only human. You have got feelings inside. “People deal with it in their own way. You try to smile and laugh, but inside you are thinking, ‘I would love to see you round the back and give you a smack’. But his car is right outside the door with about 18 bodyguards. “I think sometimes he has to remember that this show is not about Jason Gardiner, it’s about all the work people put in. “He turns up on a Sunday, that’s all he does.
