Jennifer Metcalfe – who plays the troublesome brunette in the Channel 4 soap – joked that while she thinks her alter-ego will ultimately wind up “in a gutter somewhere”, she is so volatile she could end up turning over a new leaf and entering a holy order! She told BANG Showbiz: “Mercedes is bad, bad, bad. She has every intention of being good but all her actions turn out bad. “She’ll probably in a gutter somewhere, that girl could do anything.
