Camille Grammer out of Real Housewives

Camille Grammer has confirmed that she won’t be on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for its third season. While reports said she didn’t want to “expose her personal life any more,” Camille herself said it was actually because she couldn’t come to an agreement with the show’s producers, which presumably means over money and/or contract stipulations. “I can’t say too much at this moment, but we couldn’t get it worked out. I love these girls. I really do. I’ve had so much fun with the franchise, but I guess the producers and I couldn’t come to an agreement,” Camille told Us Weekly . Update: In a more detailed interview with E! News published late Sunday, she steers her comments away from a contract dispute. “I was not fired. I didn’t want to expose my personal life so much anymore. I had done that and was over that. I care very much for my family and children and that show tends to take me away from them. I really want to focus on them right now,” Camille said. “I just chose to k

Cure Your Adult Acne With These Easy Tips

People who suffer from adult acne need to realize that the condition is not at all uncommon. There’s a popular myth that acne is mainly a problem for teenagers, but the fact is many adults, both men and women, get acne at some point. It doesn’t matter how mild or severe your acne is, there are solutions available and we’ll share a few of them with you. Washing your face a bunch isn’t going to help you clear up any moderate to severe acne. And yet it can still really help you with the overall treatments for your acne. There are some who believe that the best way to clear up acne is to really scrub their faces but all this does is cause more irritation. It is much better to wash your face twice daily with warm (not hot) water and a soft cloth instead of a rough washcloth. You can use a cleanser that you buy over the counter but make sure that it doesn’t have any harsh chemicals because those can really irritate sensitive skin. You want your skin to be clean but you also want to be as ge

America's Got Talent star: $1 million prize actually worth about $200,000

America’s Got Talent ’s fifth winner, Michael Grimm , received only about $200,000 as his prize for winning the show, which advertises its prize as $1 million. That’s because he took the lump sum, instead of getting paid over time, and During the show’s second season, I analyzed the fine print of the show’s $1 million prize in detail , discovering that it was worth about $375,000 after taxes, but that was based on 2007-era assumptions about tax rates. The key is that the prize is not $1 million: it’s $25,000 a year or a lump sum. The Sun-Herald reports that Grimm ultimately received “a little more than $200,000, he said, once the network got its cut of more than 50 percent and he paid taxes on the lump sum he received.” It’s not clear what NBC’s “cut” means, whether he had to pay them something, or if it’s just referring to the reduced value if one opts for the lump sum. Sunday, Grimm’s grandparents moved into a new house; theirs was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, and Grimm vowed to

Tips For Making Hair Styles

Hair styling has come a long way. Today different types of challenges arise when people with hair of different colors decide on hair styling. By far, black hair is the most challenging type. Not only is this kind of hair usually coarse and wiry but it also one that looks the best when styled correctly. It helps to choose the appropriate black hair style from the many challenging options. Today, the trend being witnessed across the globe is that many people with non-black hair too are inclined to adopt the color and the shine of this type of hair. The endeavor is not unattainable and the right techniques are available and wisely and widely used today. When styling black hair it is important to remember the type of style chosen needs to take into consideration the way the hair grows and the volume of growth. These two factors vary and depend on several other factors and all need to be scrutinized when choosing to go with a black hairstyle. Genetics plays a big and primary role in determ

TLC cancels All-American Muslim

All-American Muslim , the docudrama that followed several Muslim families in Dearborn, Mich., has been cancelled by TLC. The Detroit Free Press reports on the cancellation, which the show’s cast recently learned about. “Cast members said they were told by TLC the show didn’t get high enough ratings to continue, but some said they are skeptical of that claim since the show’s ratings were equal to those of many other shows,” the paper reported. But the show’s ratings decreased over time , and after five episodes, it was the 78th most-watched Sunday night cable show. Most likely, the show was not insane or exploitative enough to draw the kind of ratings that TLC’s usual freak show parade usually does. While it set out to explore and show the diversity of people and families who share a faith unfamiliar to many people, All-American Muslim will be perhaps most notable for outing Lowe’s as a company willing to kowtow to stupid bigots , which the company continued to do . MTV confirms Real World: St. Thomas

MTV today confirmed that the 27th season of the first modern reality TV show will be filmed in the Virgin Islands and be called The Real World: St. Thomas. The network noted that because it’s a U.S. territory, the production costs benefit the economy even though it’s being filmed in the Caribbean. Word that the production has selected St. Thomas leaked recently , dashing the hopes of people in places like Pittsburgh, which thought the show would be coming there even though there was no evidence (and the show probably will never go there ). The press release mentioned a “custom decorated home” but didn’t say that it’s actually located on an island off the mainland . The cast will venture away from their secluded home to visit St. Croix, St. John, and Water Island. Co-creator and executive producer Jon Murray called St. Thomas “the perfect environment for this year’s seven strangers to get to know each other and figure out their lives,” while the press release promised they’d “work hard
