Carl’s condition made it impossible for him to continue living in their Wichita, Kansas bi-level home, which contained door frames that were not wheelchair accessible and dangerous stairs that also made it impossible for Carl to move effectively through the house. They learned that their home and business would get a makeover courtesy of ABC. The family runs a tree service, but have had to turn away work due to injuries, but in the meantime, have continued to give back to the community by giving teens the opportunity to learn about wrestling.
