Extreme Makeover Home Edition: Hall Family Door Knock | <b>Reality TV</b> <b>...</b>

Extreme Makeover Home Edition delivered its latest ‘door knock’ at the home of the Hall family from Wichita, Kansas to let them know they will be receiving a home makeover in seven short days.  Keep reading for the sneak peek details…

Extreme Makeover Home Edition and ABC learned that the Hall family of six were hit hard back in June of last year when father, Carl, was involved in a tragic car accident that left him paralyzed from the shoulders down. Carl’s condition made it impossible for him to continue living in their Wichita, Kansas bi-level home, which contained door frames that were not wheelchair accessible and dangerous stairs that also made it impossible for Carl to move effectively through the house. The family was forced to relocate to a rented condominium.

Extreme Makeover Home Edition intend to give Carl back his independence with a new home equipped for rehab, so as to help the family move forward.

Carl and Stacey Hall were childhood sweethearts who got married and had four kids, Megan (16), Maddie (14), Logan (11), and McLaine (9), all of whom share their father’s love of team sports. Mom is the cheerleader.

Carl has not lost his spirit since the accident and has continued to face each challenge as it comes with heart. The community has raised funds to help the family, but the costs associated with Carl’s condition have put great financial strain on the family.

Extreme Makeover Home Edition went to Wichita ready to ‘hit one out of the park’ for Carl and the Hall family. Community volunteers and Bob Cook Homes joined the design team of Ty Pennington, Paige Hemmis, Jillian Harris, and Paul DiMeo, on the project.
