The TV funnyman only got married in India last month but already his new bride has started telling him to wear. In his first TV interview since tying the knot, he told ITV show ‘Loose Women’: “The other day, I put a shirt on and she went, ‘You’re not wearing that shirt are you?’ I thought, ‘That’s actually happening? That’s a thing off a sitcom.’ That happened in my actual life. I wasn’t allowed to wear it.” Confessing that he is well and truly “under the thumb”, he continued: “If she says don’t wear that shirt, I don’t wear it.” Despite the star-studded guest list and unusual location, Russell insists his wedding was just like anybody’s else’s.
