Shocking images depicted slashed wrists, blades, and blood and urged Bieber fans to cut themselves as a way of convincing him to stop smoking marijuana. Bob Harper and Anna Kournikova will be joined as trainers on The Biggest Loser 12 by Dolvett Quince, who NBC says has served as Justin Bieber’s trainer. Today, a documentary film is being released that will probably be more popular than any other nonfiction film this year, thanks to the legions of crazy Justin Bieber fans who will go to see their teen pop king’s life story, or at least whatever they can see through teary eyes and hear over their own shrieks. The Justin Bieber biopic Never Say Never , which is in 3D so people can actually try to touch him, is directed by Jon Chu and is produced by two people familiar to fans of quality unscripted entertainment: Jane Lipsitz and Dan Cutforth, aka Magical Elves, who Justin thanked at the premiere. The company tweeted , “the film is amazing. We hope you all check it out this weekend and become ‘Beliebers.’” From anyone else, that’d make me laugh, but they’ve certainly proven themselves with unscripted TV. Dana Carvey hosted Saturday Night Live last night, and his return included appearances by his characters from the Church Chat and Wayne’s World sketches, and by SNL players as reality stars (skip to the end and watch it first if you want to be surprised) Kourtney, Khloe, and Kim Kardashian and Jersey Shore ’s Snooki. I grew up on Carvey’s era of SNL from 1986 to 1993, and along with other shows from that time like all-time favorite The Golden Girls , it definitely helped to shape my sense of humor and sense of the world. So I’m one of the people the show is targeting when it brings back Carvey and these characters from the time period that’s often referred to as the show’s golden age—which Carvey’s monologue addressed. The 16 year old singer seemed sure that he was to be offered his own tribute episode, with a starring role and told The Sun: “I am going to tell the producers that it must be in the agreement that Cheryl gets a part in the show as well. “Cheryl and the show make total sense.
