No comments There are sad times ahead for Tracy Barlow when she loses her unborn twins, but as ever, she’ll try to turn the situation to her own advantage to make sure Becky McDonald (Katherine Kelly) gets the blame! Tracy is of course played by Kate Ford , who’s been telling Soaplife that the storyline begins when Tracy – who’s in a fit of rage thinking that Steve (Simon Gregson) is seeing Becky behind her back – develops stomach cramps. The pain becomes so intense, she has to be rushed to hospital, and along with her mum Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) Tracy will learn that she’s miscarried her twins… Devastated, Tracy sobs to her mum that now she’s no longer pregnant with his babies, Steve won’t want to know her, but despite assurances from Deirdre that Steve wouldn’t be so callous, Tracy swears her mum to secrecy over the miscarriage. When she leaves the hospital, Tracy sets out to find Becky, and provokes her into a row. So that then, when Tracy falls down...

No comments Corrie star Andrew Lancel has revealed that he hopes his character, Frank Foster, doesn’t become a clichéd soap villain. Speaking to What’s On TV magazine, Andrew added that he doesn’t want Frank to become another Richard Hillman or Tony Gordon type of character. He said, “I’ve never sought a label, I’ve never wanted a label… “I have a character called Frank Foster and I think he’s a bit of a one off. I don’t think he fits into any mould. “He’s not a nice man. People keep calling him a baddie and that’s an understatement if you ask me, but I think he’s a bit different than what’s been before.” Andrew – who also revealed he’s been a Corrie fans since childhood – added that he is an expert on past Corrie villains. Sammy Milewski had a one night stand with the actor last year and gave birth to baby Greyson two months ago, however he has yet to meet or contribute to the child’s welfare and the new mum told The People: “I honestly thought that once Jack had proof that Greyson was his son he would do the decent thing. Newspapers had reported today that the Coronation Street actress would give birth to her new daughter at 32 weeks – 5-8 weeks before she would be full term. However, Kym – better known as Weatherfield’s Michelle Connor – has since took to Twitter to rubbish the claim. American Idol 9 semi-finalist Alex Lambert, who joined the cast of If I Can Dream after being eliminated before the finals, said he’s homeless and living on the streets of Los Angeles, but a representative of his management insists he’s not homeless because he’s getting a paycheck and actively working on demos. Late last night, Alex wrote , “Ever since IICD ended I’ve been kinda homless! Sleepin on the street and behind buildings.I have a choice to stay and persue my career or go … back to texas and not do music! The ‘Coronation Street’ actress admitted she has a huge crush on the actor – who is dating his ‘Twilight’ co-star Kristen Stewart – and would love the chance to spend the festive season with him. She said: “I’d love to find Robert Pattinson in my Christmas stocking. He’s so sexy and has a real aura about him. “I read an interview with him and he seems dead down to earth – he doesn’t think he’s anything special – and that makes him even more attractive.” However, Michelle is not the only British star to confess to a crush on the actor. No comments The Sun today reports that police in Manchester are at a heightened level of security ahead of tonight’s live episode of Corrie amid fears terrorist group Al Qaeda may target the show. The paper reports that police were “tipped off” that the group may target the show’s 50th anniversary live broadcast, and it seems they’re taking the possibility seriously… Coronation Street cast and crew will apparently be searched today as they arrive at the studios, and airport style scanners will be used as part of extensive searches of the set and outlying buildings.
