The lesbian teenager will “spiral downward” after she sees her girlfriend Sian (Sacha Parkinson) spending time with a girl she met while on holiday, and believing that their relationship could be over, Sophie turns to the bottle… Drunk and upset, Sophie goes to the church where she watches her former friends practicing for the choir, but when they laugh and make fun of her, her upset turns to anger and she furiously berates them for their homophobia… She’ll then run to the roof, but as she staggers drunkenly, she’ll step on loose tiles and plunge onto a car below.
