No comments Patsy Kensit “really appreciated” her job as an actress following her stint on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. The 43-year-old former ‘Holby City’ star – who finished in seventh place alongside professional dancer Robin Windsor in last year’s series of the BBC One show – admitted while appearing the programme lifted her “emotionally”, she found memorising complicated routines challenging. She said: “It sounds like such a cliché, but dancing really does lift you emotionally. Also, I’d been going to work for the past 38 years and taking it for granted that I can memorise a script immediately. “I’ve got a photographic memory; I’ve been using that muscle in my brain forever. I can cry on cue. I can learn pages of dialogue, but when it comes to doing a dance routine my mind could go blank at any second. It made me really appreciate my job.” Patsy revealed ...

No comments It was reported by various media outlets earlier this week that Patsy Palmer was quitting EastEnders amid the cot death and baby swap storyline, however, she’s denied that’s the case. In an interview with Hello magazine, Patsy added that she has “every intention” of returning to EastEnders after her maternity leave. Patsy of course gave birth to her fourth child, Bertie, last November, and her exit from the show prompted the show’s writers to re-write some scenes. However, Patsy reiterated that she hasn’t left the show and will take up a new contract with the BBC soap at some point.
