After season after season of front row appearances and a Louis Vuitton sneaker collaboration under his belt, American rap artist and record producer Kanye West may finally be creating his own fashion line to feature at New York Fashion Week, Fashionolia can reveal. Grazia Magazine recently reported that West is ‘finally ready to show the world what he’s been working on’.  The singer recently spent the last fashion month in Paris researching garments and seeking advice on factories and clothing production. He has also allegedly opened a spacious studio in London and has had assistance from Central St. Martin’s professor Louise Wilson, who has previously mentored faces such as Alexander McQueen, Alber Elbaz for Lanvin and Christopher Kane, to name a few. They’ve collaborated with top designers, fashion houses and even fashion bloggers, and as of February 2nd 2012, H&M will be releasing their brand new collection of Bodywear, as designed by celebrity favourite, David Beckham. The collection will be primarily made for men, and will coincide with the romantic feel of Valentine’s day as it hits the stores, which could prove as a perfect sensual gift for your party on the big day. The David Beckham bodywear line will be available in around 1800 H&M stores worldwide, with a selection of new Bodywear products being launched seasonally. As one of the most influential people in fashion, Karl Lagerfeld has decided to take his creations to Macy’s, a popular American high street store. The designer has previously collaborated with brands such as H&M, Diesel, and even Coca Cola, explaining that he loves “occasional co-branding.” “The collaboration is a kind of test how to do this kind of clothes in that price range.” says Lagerfeld, “Macy’s is the perfect department store in the US, where everybody can find what they’re looking for without ruining their budget.” The collection will consist of around 45 limited edition styles, featuring statement jackets and the ever famous Chanel tweed.
