There’s another major change coming to So You Think You Can Dance this summer, besides its new once-a-week schedule and longer season : there will be two winners, one male and one female. “Girls dance totally differently than guys,” Nigel told TVLine , which says that Nigel was “pointing out the apples-vs.-oranges vibe that’s pervaded most SYTYCD finales. The only problem is that Nigel Lythgoe does not understand is that sex does not dictate everything about one’s behavior or physicality. Here’s a nice pre-holiday gift: The clip from the Dutch edition of So You Think You Can Dance , which featured a very weird audition in which a freestyle dancer ends up dancing on his penis, or something that’s supposed to be his penis. The clip comes via Best Week Ever , which is via The Daily What , and is pretty hilarious/ridiculous/strange/frightening, which is compounded by his costume, which appears to be a boom box robot head mask. At the very least, it’s an impressive trick, whatever this person—identified only as Stereoheads—is doing or using to spin around. He gets critiqued while standing in front of the judges with what appears to be a massive erection, and gets told, “That was probably the most unique, special, different solo we’ve seen today for sure,” which explains why he makes it through to the next round.
