While the new season of ABC‘s The Bachelor has not even aired yet, there are already rumors of who the next Bachelorette star will be! In fact, according to one source, we may be seeing Emily Maynard as the next Bachelorette! More after the jump…

The Bachelor‘s new season hasn’t even started yet, and there are already rumors going around the web as to who the next Bachelorette star will be. According to Life & Style Magazine, who claims to have the inside source, Emily Maynard has not signed the contract yet, but she will be headed to the next season of The Bachelorette. A source close to Emily told the magazine about her joining the show, revealing: “It’s basically a done deal. She hasn’t signed the contract yet, but she’s fully on board.”

Emily Maynard became engaged to Brad Womack on season 15 of The Bachelor in March, but then the pair split in May, as rumors claimed that Brad was not adjusting well to being a step-dad. More recently, rumors have claimed that Emily Maynard was romantically linked to Carolina Panthers tight end Jeremy Shockey as well as Most Eligible Dallas star Matt Nordgren, whom she denied dating. The source went on to tell Life & Style that Emily is the perfect choice for the show because: “Emily is America’s sweetheart. Fans are going to be thrilled! Everyone loved her.”
