Celebrity Apprentice’s Star Jones SLAMS NeNe Leakes in Interview

Star Jones may have a lot to say in the boardroom, but when it comes to talking about her feud with The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s NeNe Leakes, the former View co-host has stayed relatively quiet…until now. In a new interview, the “Satan’s Sisters” author slams her Celebrity Apprentice co-star and even brings up NeNe’s stripper past! Oh snap!

“You never get involved in a pig fight,” Star Jones tells Popeater.com’s Rob Shuter of her feud with Real Housewives of Atlanta star, NeNe Leakes. “If you do, three things happen: you get dirty, you get tired, and only the pig has fun. It diminishes me to talk about her. I have so many other things going on in my life.”

One of those things would be the release of her new book, “Satan’s Sisters,” which Jones has been promoting on a variety of shows; each time, doing her best to avoid trashing her Celebrity Apprentice co-star, NeNe Leakes, who’s been very outspoken about her disdain for Star in the media.

“In my heart, I think, ‘Pray, don’t act crazy, your grandmother is watching, your sorority sisters are watching, you were raised better than this,’” says Star of her stint on the NBC reality show, where Leakes tested her patience on more than one occasion.

“I know there are people that value my opinion. Plus, I’m not 20 minutes off the pole,” added Jones, referring to The Real Housewife of Atlanta’s admitted past as a stripper.

Rawr! So much for grandma!

Though she’s enjoying her return to television, Star Jones says that she’s no longer looking to be the center of attention, having learned a few lessons from her time on The View.

“Part of that was my fault when I made my personal life so much of the public conversation. It didn’t help when I was going through so much: weight loss, and not being able to talk about it,” admits Star. “On the one hand I’m so public and on the other hand I’m so private. Now I feel healthy and happy.”

Star Jones’ book, “Satan’s Sisters” is available in bookstores now.

Celebrity Apprentice airs Sundays at 9|8c on NBC.
