Celebrity Apprentice’s Star Jones Calls NeNe Leakes An Animal!

Can’t we all just get along?! When Bravo‘s Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes last appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she called her Celebrity Apprentice co-star, Star Jones “a disaster.” But during her own interview with the talk show host, which aired today (May 3), Jones had some pretty harsh things to say about Leakes as well….

After Sunday night’s episode of NBC‘s Celebrity Apprentice, where fans were finally able to see the vicious confrontation between Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s NeNe Leakes and Star Jones, the former View co-host made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and dished about the seemingly one-sided spat.

“What were you thinking when NeNe [Leakes] was going off like that?” Ellen asked.

“I was thinking my grandmother is going to watch this,” said Star. “I was thinking I need to keep calm.”

But despite her intentions to stay above the fray and show the country how an “educated black woman” handles such situations, Star quickly began to let her true feelings about Ms. Leakes show.

“When you’re confronted in the wild with an un-caged animal you’re supposed to retreat,” Jones explained. “You’re not supposed to attack.”

“No,” argued Ellen, “with a bear you’re supposed to appear bigger. You’re supposed to get larger.”

“If you can tell me how to get bigger than that, I got money for you,” the former View co-host quipped.

Ellen DeGeneres then asked Star if the two had managed to reconcile after the show:

“It looks like at the end of it you started making up, although you didn’t want to do it on camera,” DeGeneres points out. “How do you all get along now?”

(Hey, give her a break! Ellen DeGeneres has a lot of stuff going on in her life; she doesn’t have time to keep up with the status of Star Jones’ relationship with NeNe Leakes.)

“I don’t know that girl and I don’t hang with people like that,” answered Star.

The next episode of Celebrity Apprentice airs Sunday at 8|7c on NBC.

How to make: A fashionable cake

The Stella McCartney ‘fruit print’ has become one of the most iconic patterns for the season, with high street brands such as Zara following suit. However, the look can be fairly difficult to pull off unless you’re a stick thin model, so we’ve found a way to get your fashion fix and your hunger fix for a fraction of the cost of a real Stella.
