NYC Prep - TV Show Preview

Welcome back to ClevverTV-I'm Joslyn Davis coming to you from the heart of Beverly Hills.

Now, I don't know about you guys, but I admit that I am a total reality show junkie-I can't enough of shows like Project Runway, America's Next Top Model, and the list goes on. Most recently though, reality TV lovers are tuning in to Bravo's own version of what seems like real-life Gossip Girl. NYC Prep follows the lives of high schoolers on the trendy upper east side in Manhattan to give the rest of us an inside scoop of what the high life is really like. And judging from the teens on the show, it seems like life is pretty dramatic and extremely over the top.

PC Petersen is the show's resident male fashionista-and even New York Magazine is weighing in on how his personal style is impacting fashion trends throughout one of the biggest city's in the world. And similar to Chuck Bass from Gossip Girl, PC is NYC Prep's resident villain, as well. He can constantly be seen throwing tantrums, stirring up arguments and making people feel uncomfortable, but OF COURSE he looks amazing, so people don't seem to care as much.

Then of course there is Jessie, who claims to be PC's best friend, but lots of viewers agree that she is probably totally crushing over him---Do I smell a possible Blair Waldorf connection here? Like Blair, Jessie is extremely aggressive and isn't afraid to tell people what she really thinks. And she knows what she wants-at age 17 she already knows that she is passionate about fashion PR.

Camille is another member of the reality cast-and she is completely obsessed with getting into Harvard-but don't let her studious ways fool you-we see her hooking up with random dates more than once on the show. And if that's not enough she also has a bit of a rift with Jessie after she openly insults her high school's seriousness factor.

The only really down to earth characters on the show seem to be Kelli and Taylor. Even Sebastian has the whole ladies man/sweetheart combo down it seems...he is probably getting my vote for most like Nate Archibald.

Do you guys watch NYC prep and if so, what do you think? Do you like how I thought they matched up with the cast of Gossip Girl? Or do you think this is more like a real-life 90210. Hit the comments section to weigh in on this and more.

Thanks for watching ClevverTV-I'm Joslyn Davis reminding you to stay right here for more entertainment scoop!
