If you're new, Subscribe! → Duggar family found international attention in 2008, thanks to the TLC show 17 Kids and Counting, which chronicled their lives in northwest Arkansas. Seen by the public as wholesome and old-school — if not a little strange — the Duggars made a cottage industry of themselves, just by being who they are: having tons of babies, not watching TV, and homeschooling their litter of kids. As they added more children, forcing the name of the show to change to 18, and then 19 Kids and Counting, they also gathered their own share of critics.
