The show is a competition wherein 10 television celebrity couples compete against each other. Each week one couple is eliminated based on public voting and their scores.

The eighth season of Nach Baliye is scheduled to air somewhere in March 2017 on Star Plus, based on a BBC dance reality show, Strictly Come Dancing. Sonakshi Sinha has been confirmed to have replaced Preity Zinta on the judging panel.Terence Lewis and Mohit Suri will also be judging the show. Karan Tacker and Upasana Singh will turn the hosts for the show. Eleven Jodis have been finalized to take part in Nach:
