‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' is due to be released in cinemas later this year and is the third movie in the incredibly popular franchise.

The first poster to be released for the movie however doesn’t show Jennifer Lawrence though we know she’s going to be around.

‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' has been given an official release date of November 21st and will see the return of Jennifer Lawrence who will star alongside Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.

Filming for the movie began late last year and this movie picks up from the third book in the Suzanne Collins trilogy. It’s being rumoured however that the third movie will be slightly different to the first two in terms of the children’s death matches.

We’re saying no more for now though as we don’t want to give too much away.

The poster, which can be seen above was posted on the official Facebook page for ‘The Hunger Games’  with the caption ““Check out the new logo for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1… and LIKE if you’re excited for #Mockingjay!”

The first two movies in the trilogy have been box-office giants with the last movie ‘Catching Fire’ earning a staggering $854 million+ worldwide.

Francis Lawrence (no relation to Jennifer Lawrence), will return to direct the final two films after directing ‘Catching Fire’.

It’s being slated that the second part of ‘Mockingjay’ will be released in 2015 around the same time but nothing is set in stone yet.

‘The Hunger Games’ follows Katniss – played by Jennifer Lawrence in a post-apocalyptic country called Panem. Children are forced to compete in battles on television – though it’s a battle to the death.

Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) manages to survive the battle in the first movie and returns to the battle arena in the second movie after Panem’s ruler believes her to be such a huge threat.
