’24' starring Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer was and will always be one of the most action-packed series on television and fans were overjoyed to learn that the show was returning.

‘Live Another Day’ recently started filming in London and Kiefer Sutherland was among fellow cast members yesterday as they filmed a car crash scene and it sounds like they’ll be there for a few months yet.

Shooting for ‘Live Another Day’ is well underway and from the looks of some photographs Sutherland is having a blast on set – quite literally.

Kiefer Sutherland recently spoke to Total Film about returning to film ’24' in the UK and said:  “24 has always had such a global sensibility.”

“But to be able to tell this intense 24- style story with the beauty of Europe’s history and architecture as the backdrop is going to be fascinating.

“Hopefully, by the time you’re finished watching an episode, you’ll feel like you’ve been there… on the edge of your seat.”

Various pictures from the filming in London yesterday show Kiefer Sutherland looking stern faced as ever he returns to his role as former CTU agent turned fugitive Jack Bauer for the scenes.

Mary Lynn Rajskub is also returning to the show as Chloe O’Brian but with a complete makeover (seen below) that some fans may be surprised to see.

She recently spoke about reprising her role and said: “I have a lot of people who refuse to call me anyone but Chloe. I never thought 24 would come back and in this format.”

The pair were seen filming near Aldgate in East London with an exploding London cab with a large Union Jack on the side.

‘Live Another Day’ picks up four years after the final season and as usual will play out in real time however, there will only be 12 episodes instead of the normal 24.

A video has been posted online showing the London cab on fire yesterday which you can see below.
