They absolutely love shocking the public with their controversial fashion choices, but Kendall and Kylie Jenner still have yet to taking the Miley Cyrus route and cover themselves in tattoos. But the Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars do enjoy displaying more temporary renditions of body decoration, which is why they recently showed off a pair of impressive Sharpie tats.

Kendall and Kylie Jenner have long been fans of the permanent marker tattoo. They apparently like the look of ink on their body, but aren’t eager to subject their skin to the real deal. Last year, Kendall intrigued Instagram followers with a creepy spine tattoo and now, she’s returned with a much smaller but still impressive tat on her hand. The middle finger tattoo in her latest Instagram snapshot depicts an antelope. As Kendall reminds fans, it’s definitely not real.

Not to be outdone by her older sister, Kylie sought a Sharpie tattoo of her own. The younger Jenner opted for a permanent marker gun, which she asked the talented Nat Wood to draw right below her rib cage. Nat showed off a picture of her handiwork on Instagram, along with the following caption: “just tatted tha lil bbgirl @kyliejenner.”

Reaction to Kendall and Kylie’s tattoos is mixed thus far, with some fans approving of the intricate designs and others complaining that a Sharpie gun near Kylie’s midriff is incredibly inappropriate. But we’d argue that this temporary tat pales in comparison to some of the racy styles Kylie’s donned in the past.
