Pop superstar is on the cover of GQ Magazine this month and she spoke about a number of things including asking God for something so she couldn’t see her feet.

Not only that but in the extensive interview with the publication Katy Perry also spoke about how she’d love to sit down with President Obama and talk about aliens and why she’s never taken marijuana.

The ‘Fireworks’ beauty has openly revealed in the past that she’s a believer in extra terrestrial life forms and in the interview with GQ magazine she admitted she’d love to talk about it.

Though she doesn’t want to talk about aliens with a scientist who has studied in that field for years. No no, Katy Perry wants to talk about aliens to the President of the United States of America.

Katy said: “I see everything through a spiritual lens. I believe in a lot of astrology. I believe in aliens. I look up into the stars and I imagine: How self-important are we to think that we are the only life-form?”

“I mean, if my relationship with Obama gets any better, I’m going to ask him that question. It just hasn’t been appropriate yet.”

Katy then confessed that she doesn’t believe that God is just an old guy sitting with a long beard:

“I believe in a cosmic energy that is bigger than me. I do not believe God is an old guy sitting on a throne with a long beard… I don’t believe in heaven and hell as a destination.”

Moving onto something different Katy Perry also spoke about marijuana and why she’s never done it before and why she probably never will.

She said: ”I can’t do that stuff. I’d be like in the corner: ‘Are you trying to kill me?!’.”

Katy Perry can be seen on the cover of GQ magazine (above) and the publication is due to hit shelves in the UK on the 28th of January.

Meanwhile Katy Perry is returning to the UK next month to perform at the BRIT Awards 2014 alongside Bruno Mars, Arctic Monkeys, Rudimental, Pharrell and many many more.
