We always did like Matt Edmondson, from way back in his Holy Moly days, and we have to admit his new show Fake Reaction has become one of our guilty viewing pleasures.

The TV funny man returns to ITV2 tonight with the latest episode of his comedy panel series and on this evening’s instalment he tries his hand at a bit of dancing….dirty dancing no less!

Former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Louis Smith is taking part in the show and during a chat about the BBC competition, Matt asks the Olympic gymnast if he could help him fulfil a ‘lifelong dream’ and complete the iconic Dirty Dancing lift with him.

Of course Edmondson takes on the Baby role, while Smith makes an adequate Johnny Castle and as you can see in the video below, the whole stunt goes rather well.

We’d say there is a natural performer in Matt for sure.

Louis tweeted today about the lift and told his Twitter followers:

“Make sure you tune in to ITV2 at 10pm tonight to see me on @fakereactionitv might see the Dirty Dancing lift with me and @MattEdmondson lol”

Edmondson added:

“BEST MOMENT EVER RT @fakereactionitv: Reason 9: @louissmith1989 brings out THOSE slick dance moves. ”

Watch the video and tune into Fake Reaction tonight, 10pm, ITV2.
