Wow, Kris and Bruce Jenner weren’t kidding when they said they were still besties after announcing their split in October. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars got together over Thanksgiving, and they didn’t do it just for the sake of the children, either. These guys really do seem to still like each other….like, waaaaay more than normal exes do. Case in point: the two went on a movie date last week, which seems a tad unusual for a recently separated couple.

TMZ caught up with the ex-couple outside a theater in Calabasas, where they met up for a friendly outing at the movies. Kris Jenner’s mom came along for the fun as well, and so did Bruce’s sweet ponytail. Side note: have we figured out what’s going on with the ponytail? Is he growing it out for charity or is he going for a cool grandpa image or something? Because, I hate to say it, it’s just not working. Maybe he should try a beard; it’s working well for those Duck guys.

Anyway, the strange threesome took in a show and afterward, Kris gave Bruce a sweet kiss on the cheek…right next to his mouth. Seriously, it was almost a mouth kiss. Again, this is not normal behavior for exes, but whatev. When they announced their separation a couple months ago, they did say that they still loved and respected each other, and that they were both happier living apart – he in Malibu and she in Calabasas. They’ve also made it clear that neither has any intention of filing for divorce, though I’m not convinced this is out of love for each other as much as it is Kris Jenner’s fear of losing a few million bucks, not to mention what it might do to her Keeping Up With the Kardashians money machine.

So what do you think about Kris and Bruce Jenner hooking up for a movie date? Weird or kind of awesome? Tell us in the comments!
