Meanwhile, Ashley and Harriet make final preparations for their interviews, and the tension between them is palpable. That morning, Sandy confides in Harriet about the past, and why Ashley wants the job so much…
Harriet’s taken aback by what Sandy had to say, and in the church later, a tense Ashley and Harriet sit waiting for their turn to be interviewed, but soon, Jude comes to get Ashley, who looks grimly determined.
When Harriet arrives back at Edna’s after her interview, Ashley expects the worst, however, he’s ecstatic to learn he’s got the job, but is it all as it seems?
Elsewhere, in the café, Alicia and David brace themselves to tell Priya about the wedding, but she has other ideas as she smugly brags about David coming to the baby’s first scan. When she’s gone, Alicia and David vent their frustrations at being unable to tell her about the wedding yet again.
Also, Katie tries to make a quick escape after spending the night with Adam, and later, Ross teases Adam, who’s frustrated that Ross is still living with them.
And finally, once she’s alone, Moira calls Cain, and it’s clear that she’s missing him.
