EastEnders Spoilers: Janine announces she’s buying The Vic! And Carol’s frantic after finding a lump in her breast! (VIDEO)
The final visit of the week to Walford on Friday 13th December sees Carol distracted, and her day goes from bad to worse as everyone puts pressure on her…
With Marie off sick, Carol’s forced to cover at the café, and she’s then made to feel worse when she has to let Joey down as she’s unable to visit Alice with him. Seeing Carol’s stressed, David offers to cook dinner for her…
But when Lucy later makes a sarcastic comment to Carol, it gets too much and she storms out of the café. Things are made worse yet when she gets home and realises that David has forgotten to sort out dinner!
Angry, she throws him out, but later, she Carol heads to the bathroom and, trembling, feels her breast…
We realise that Carol has found something…
Elsewhere, Phil gets a call from a potential buyer, only to find it’s a property development company who’re offering to buy the pub. Meanwhile, Alfie tries to warn Roxy off Carl when he sees them together in The Vic, but she retaliates by telling him Phil’s found a buyer.
Alfie tries to talk to Janine again about buying The Vic, although he’s disappointed when she gives a non-committal response.
Elsewhere, Ronnie asks Phil for a £20k loan from the profits of the sale of The Vic, but when she refuses to tell him what it’s for, he turns her down. Meanwhile, knowing the potential buyer’s intentions, Phil’s torn about what to do and so turns to Sharon for her advice.
Over at Butcher’s Joints, Janine fires Lucy and Danny to free up some cash quickly, and she then to the pub to inform everyone she’s going to be the next landlady!
Over the road, David proposes a new business plan to Max, but he isn’t having any of it. Undeterred, David tries numerous ways to get Janine to invest, including taking advantage of their family connections, but Janine insists that he’s not investment material and refuses.
Also in this episode, Dexter feels guilty for blurting out Jay’s secret to Abi, and while trying to make peace, he lets slip to Abi that Lola also knew about Jay’s kiss, causing Abi to fall out with Lola!
Abi continues to ignore numerous calls from Jay and Lola, and when Lauren realises that Abi’s worried about acting like Tanya, she reassures her that forgiving Jay would not make her like their mum. Abi then decides to go and speak to Jay, but will she forgive him?
