Sam Poueu and Stephanie Anderson Poueu are two former contestants of The Biggest Loser that most fans can never forget. Sam suffered serious injuries back in 2011, after he fell off the roof of a four story building, but with Stephanie (his fiancee at the time) by his side, he pulled through and the couple tied the knot last April. Now, the couple have even more wonderful news to share with their fans – they are expecting their first baby!

Season nine contestants of The Biggest Loser, Sam Poueu and Stephanie Anderson Poueu are expecting a baby this summer! The couple, who tied the knot last April, have been through a lot in the past two years. Sam, who inspired us all in season nine, was injured in September 2011 and suffered internal injuries to his kidney, lungs, liver, ribs, pelvis, leg, ankle, and brain.

But with Stephanie by his side, Sam defied the odds and overcame his injuries. Shortly after the incident, Stephanie told People Magazine: “He said early on that he lived for me. He wanted to be married to me. He wanted to have children with me and grow old with me.” And after all Sam has been through, he has gotten that wish! A rep for the show confirmed to People today that Sam and Stephanie are expecting a baby in July – how exciting!

Congratulations to Sam and Stephanie! We are so happy for you both! What do you think of Sam and Stephanie’s baby news? Comment below to share your thoughts.
