Former reality star Melissa Rycroft has experienced quite a few life changes since her heart was so famously broken on The Bachelor. She emerged victorious during a recent stint on Dancing With The Stars, hosted the first season of Bachelor Pad, and of course, reunited with old flame Tye Strickland. Now, the celeb and her hubby are excited to announce that baby number two is on the way!

Melissa Rycroft’s adorable daughter Ava Strickland is about to become a big sister! Earlier today, the reality star announced the big news on Good Morning America, explaining, “The dancing family is growing. We have a little bundle growing.”

No, we do not know the due date just yet, although Melissa did tell fans to expect a new baby Strickland at some point next spring. The celebrity then took to Twitter to confirm the news a second time, tweeting, “Clearly excited to share our big news!!! A new little Strickland will debut this fall!” She used hashtags to reassure fans that, yes, the pregnancy was definitely “Clear Blue confirmed,” backing up the assertion with a picture of her positive pregnancy test.

Tye and Melissa are clearly excited, as is their dedicated fan base. Less enthused about the development? Future big sis Ava. In an earlier interview, Melissa confessed that Ava had no interest in giving up her only child status, adding, “She’s so spoiled. She doesn’t want to share it.”

Are you at all surprised to hear of Melissa Rycroft’s pregnancy? Do you think Ava will eventually warm up to the idea of a little brother or sister? Sound off in the comments section below!
