Jersey Shore’s Pauly D: Proud Father?

Uh oh — looks like Pauly D has finally proven successful in his continued efforts at procreation. In a less than shocking revelation, the former Jersey Shore star admitted his brand new status as a proud parent. Fortunately, it looks like the fist-pumping superstar plans on doing right by his baby girl.

It was only a matter of time before the cast of Jersey Shore began spawning minaiture guidos and guidettes. First, Snooki surprised us all with her miraculous transformation from drunken mess into seemingly competent mother. Now, fellow reality star Pauly D is about to follow in Snooki’s footsteps. And who knows — he just might surprise us with his hitherto unsuspected parenting ability!

According to a recent report from TMZ, Pauly D met his baby mama during a brief DJ gig in Las Vegas. Although they met in Sin City, Pauly D’s fling is also proud to call New Jersey home. She is said to have filed paperwork in the Garden State with the intention of establishing paternity. Pauly D obliged in a DNA test and, lo and behold, found out that the little bundle of joy was most definitely a product of his Vegas night of debauchery. We like to imagine the reality star receiving the life-changing news Maury style…”Pauly D, you are the father!”

The Jersey Shore star was happy to confirm the rumors, explaining to TMZ, “I’m proud I’m a father.  I am excited to embark on this new part of my life.”

Do you have high hopes for Pauly D’s transition into fatherhood? Or do you feel sorry for his poor, poor daughter? Feel free to share your opinion in the comments section below!
